Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this area. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Autoroute Robert-Cliche, are very easy to drive to from any home in this part of the city. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is challenging in this area. Nevertheless, there are about 40 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is typically around the corner. Saint-Nicolas is not very suitable for those who travel on foot because running common errands is impractical without needing a car. Despite the fact that certain bike-friendly areas can be found, travelling by bicycle is also sometimes difficult in this neighbourhood because there are few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of hills.
