Transportation

No matter the mode of transportation, it is simple to move around in St.Andrew-Windfields. Thanks to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Line 1 (Yonge-University) and Line 4 (Sheppard), and about 30 nearby bus lines, St.Andrew-Windfields features fairly good public transit. Walking is also fairly feasible for property owners in St.Andrew-Windfields; many daily errands can be run without needing a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are close by. Despite the fact that certain enjoyable pockets for bicycling can be found, it is difficult to commute by bike in this neighbourhood as the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave.

St.Andrew-Windfields offers a wide selection of green spaces to enjoy, as well as some areas with a vibrant ambience. To be more precise, green spaces, such as Moatfield Farm Park and St. Andrew’s Park, are very well-spread out and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to relax in, which makes them very easy to access. This part of the city is relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians, although there can be higher levels of noise for those who are near the railway line or Highway 401.
