Transportation

This neighbourhood is a very good part of St. Catharines for travelling by car. It is convenient to find a parking spot, and it is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 406, from anywhere in New Western Hill. On the other hand, the public transit service in this part of St. Catharines is not especially frequent. Thankfully, there is the St. Catharines on the Lakeshore West. There are approximately 40 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. It is sometimes challenging for people walking to move around in this part of St. Catharines as few common errands can be run without a vehicle. However, it is easy to travel by bicycle in New Western Hill because there are few elevation changes to challenge cyclists.

Parents and their kids will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of houses for sale in this part of the city.
