The neighbourhood of The Haig is part of the city of St. Catharines, Ontario, which is located in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area.
Transportation
The Haig allows house buyers to travel using a variety of modes of transportation. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are well-suited for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without the use of a car, and plenty of businesses are reasonably close at hand. Commuting by bicycle is also convenient in The Haig because bicycling is facilitated by the generally flat terrain. Travelling by public transit is convenient in this area thanks to approximately 40 nearby bus lines. This neighbourhood is also rather car friendly. It is easy to come across a parking spot, and many properties for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way.
