Transportation

This part of the city is an extremely convenient part of Oshawa for driving. Finding a parking spot is generally easy, and many real estate listings are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401. In contrast, public transit users may find few options in this part of Oshawa as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Beaton is not very suitable for pedestrians as carrying out daily needs is sometimes difficult without the use of a vehicle. This part of Oshawa is also not very suited for cycling as the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and the topography is not particularly flat.
