Transportation

The favoured transportation option in Kawartha is very often driving. It is straightforward to park. However, the transit service in Kawartha is rather limited. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically around the corner. The bicycle is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this area as the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a fair number of slopes. Kawartha is also not particularly suitable for people who prefer to get around as pedestrians because many daily needs are occasionally challenging to meet without needing a car.
