The neighbourhood of Lansdowne can be found in the city of Peterborough, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Peterborough metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. It is very convenient to access a place to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 7 & 115, are reasonably easy to reach from anywhere in this neighbourhood. However, the transit system in Lansdowne is fairly poor. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. Biking is occasionally difficult in Lansdowne as there are a good number of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. This area is also not particularly well-suited for people who travel by walking because few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

It is a rather short walk to get to schools and daycares from most properties for sale in Lansdowne.
