Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Beavermead. Most houses for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 7 & 115, and coming across a parking spot is easy. In contrast, the public transit infrastructure in Beavermead is not very accessible. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Peterborough are located in areas that are not especially well-suited for people who prefer to get around by foot since carrying out daily needs is occasionally challenging without a car. On the other hand, Beavermead is reasonably amenable to biking.

Services

It is a rather short stroll to reach primary schools and daycares from anywhere in Beavermead. In contrast, Beavermead does not contain any high schools. When it comes to eating, home buyers in this part of Peterborough will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a long trip away. Beavermead is very good for those who need quiet surroundings, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. The majority of locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to public green spaces, such as Ashburnham Memorial Park and Mark S. Burnham Provincial Park, since there are around 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing most dwellings in Beavermead, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings.
