Rocky Lake is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of Halifax is especially car friendly. It is very easy to access a place to park, and nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in this part of the municipality. However, residents using public transit may have limited choices in Rocky Lake as a result of the service's low frequency. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by. Traveling as a pedestrian is not particularly practical for house buyers in Rocky Lake since most daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet without a car. Biking is also challenging in this area because the bicycling network is not very extensive, and there are a good number of slopes.

Services

A supermarket is usually accessible within a rather short trip from anywhere in Rocky Lake. A small number of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. When it comes to education, it is a reasonably short walk to access daycares and schools from any location in Rocky Lake.

Character
