The community of Pleasant Valley is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the best way to get around in Pleasant Valley. Finding a place to park is generally easy. It is very challenging for people walking to navigate this part of the municipality because almost no common errands can be run without a car. Pleasant Valley is also not very conducive to cycling since the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes for cyclists to brave.

Services
