Situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Oakfield is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Oakfield. Finding a parking spot is easy. Oakfield is not very bike-friendly because the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the topography is not especially flat. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very conducive to people who prefer to travel by foot since almost no daily errands can be run without a vehicle.
