Cresthaven is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best transportation option in Cresthaven is usually a car. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are very easy to reach from any location in Cresthaven. In contrast, the transit infrastructure in this part of Halifax is rather poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. This area is reasonably bicycling-friendly. Cresthaven is not very suitable for pedestrians because meeting daily needs is occasionally difficult without a vehicle.

Services

It is rarely an option for property owners in this part of the municipality to buy their groceries without the need for a car. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and cafes as well. With respect to education, parents and their children will appreciate that wherever their property is located in Cresthaven, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of Cresthaven is exemplified by its calm environment. This part of Halifax is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
