The neighbourhood of South Bay is part of the city of Saint John, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

South Bay is especially car friendly. Finding a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in South Bay.
