The neighbourhood of Thornhill is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this area. It is very convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, the transit network in this part of Maple Ridge is not very convenient. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. Getting around by walking is not very practical for residents in this area because almost no common errands can be run without the need to use a car. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in Thornhill as riding is made difficult by the typically hilly topography, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

There are only a few high schools in Thornhill and accordingly they can be a rather long trip away. Moreover, this neighbourhood does not have any primary schools.
