The neighbourhood of Rothsay is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. Parking is generally easy. In contrast, Rothsay is not an especially pleasant part of Maple Ridge for moving around by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. This part of the city is not very suited for cycling because bicycling is made strenuous by the often steep terrain, and there are very few bike lanes. Rothsay is also not very conducive to pedestrians since running daily errands is nearly impossible without a car.
