Transportation

This part of Edmonton presents home buyers with several alternative means of transportation. This area has a good transit system. More specifically, rapid transit stations, such as Coliseum Station and Stadium Station with access to the Capital Line, are not very far away from the majority of properties in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also moderately well-suited for people who like to travel by walking; running common errands is easy without the use of a car. Physically active home buyers will appreciate the rather bike-friendly nature of Edmonton Northlands. More precisely, riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good.

In this part of Edmonton, the majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock.
