Part of the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area, Silverspring is a neighbourhood within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

Driving is very often the preferred approach to get around in Silverspring. Nearby highways are very easy to access from anywhere in Silverspring, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, travelling by transit can be challenging in Silverspring due to the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. Most houses for sale in this part of Saskatoon are located in places that are not very conducive to pedestrians because few daily errands can be run without needing a car. In contrast, it is convenient to commute by bike in Silverspring as Silverspring is home to fairly good cycling infrastructure, and cyclists do not encounter significant slopes.
