Hampton Village

Located within the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area, Hampton Village is a neighbourhood within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured way to get around in Hampton Village. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy. However, Hampton Village is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Hampton Village is reasonably bicycling-friendly since bike riders do not face significant hills, and the cycling network is moderately well-developed. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very conducive to people who get around on foot as meeting day-to-day needs is at times difficult without a vehicle.

Services

In all but a limited number of cases, a car is needed in Hampton Village to reach the nearest supermarket. Nonetheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and therefore some staple foods is generally straightforward. Those who like to eat in restaurants will have a fair number of options, and a small selection of coffee shops can be found as well. In terms of education, daycares and primary schools are especially easy to reach without needing a car from most houses for sale in Hampton Village. In contrast, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.

Character

People who prefer a relaxed ambience will enjoy Hampton Village. Green spaces, like Draggins Car Club Park and Dr. Seager Wheeler Park, are very well-distributed and there are around 20 of them close by for residents to enjoy, making it easy to reach them. This neighbourhood is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

In Hampton Village, roughly two thirds of buildings are single detached homes, and the remaining dwellings are mainly duplexes. Most of the housing growth in this part of Saskatoon has occurred following the year 2000. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 15% are renters.
