Douglas Place is a neighbourhood within Regina, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Regina metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Douglas Place. Most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is quite easy. In contrast, the transit system in Douglas Place is rather limited. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Regina, even though running daily errands is easy without a vehicle. However, a fair number of residents in the area use their bike since the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably good.

Services

It is a reasonably short trip to reach schools and daycares from most homes for sale in Douglas Place. Regarding eating, in the majority of cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries. Nonetheless, getting to the closest pharmacy and therefore some basic food items is usually convenient. This neighbourhood is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a small number of coffee shops is available as well.

Finally, although the ambience is not the liveliest in this area with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is rather challenging to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located relatively far away.
