Transportation

Cavelier Park allows property owners to travel by several alternative methods of transportation. The transit network in Cavelier Park is reasonably practical. For example, there is the Gare LaSalle with access to the 14 - Candiac. There are about 20 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically around the corner. Cavelier Park is also a fairly pleasant part of Montréal for pedestrians; meeting day-to-day needs is convenient without a vehicle. Cavelier Park is suited for cycling because there are a good number of bike lanes, and riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.

Services

Parents and their kids will value that wherever their house is situated in Cavelier Park, schools and daycares are close by. When it comes to eating, the closest grocery store in this part of the city is generally only a very short distance away. Avenue Dollard is among the best streets for food stores. Likewise, a restaurant is generally just around the corner, and there are also a few coffee shops in Cavelier Park. It is also easy to get to a selection of clothing stores as a pedestrian.

Character

Cavelier Park is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. This part of the city features a small amount of greenery; to be more precise, residents will find that the tree canopy coverage for most streets is below average. However, it is very easy to access public green spaces from most locations within the neighbourhood since there are approximately 40 of them nearby for residents to discover. This area is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

Roughly two thirds of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters while owners occupy the remainder. In this part of Montréal, the majority of buildings are duplexes, while small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock.
