Transportation

Peterborough Park permits homeowners to move around using a variety of modes of transportation. This part of Montréal is reasonably transit friendly. More precisely, house owners are served by Radisson Station and Honoré-Beaugrand Station with access to the Ligne 1 - Verte. There are around 40 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. This area will also attract people who value walkability since it is rather walking-friendly; many day-to-day needs can be carried out without a vehicle. Peterborough Park is reasonably appropriate for biking since cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is fairly extensive.

Services

It is a short stroll to access schools and daycares from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. With regards to eating, it is very easy to get to the closest supermarket without the use of a car from anywhere in Peterborough Park. Moreover, this part of the city is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and house buyers can enjoy around 10 cafes as well.

The character of Peterborough Park is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Greenery is reasonably present in this part of Montréal as the majority of streets have good tree coverage. Parks, like Parc Thomas-Chapais and Parc Chénier-Beaugrand, are especially well-distributed and there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in, which makes them easy to reach. This part of Montréal is also good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to Autoroute Métropolitaine or Autoroute 25.

In Peterborough Park, many dwellings are small apartment buildings, while duplexes and single detached homes are also present in the housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood happened in the 1960s and 1970s. This area is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
