Transportation

Driving is a very good means of transportation in Barwick Island. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, this part of Montréal is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are near a bus stop. Walking is not very practical for property owners in this part of Montréal as common amenities such as banks or liquor stores can be an occasionally long trip away. Despite the fact that much of the terrain is fairly flat, cycling is also occasionally difficult in this neighbourhood because there are few bike lanes.
