The neighbourhood of Rive-Boisée is part of the city of Montréal, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a reasonably good means of transportation in Rive-Boisée. Parking is easy. However, Rive-Boisée is not an especially pleasant part of Montréal for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Rive-Boisée is moderately suited for biking because riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain. On the other hand, traveling as a pedestrian is not especially practical for property owners in this area because common amenities such as laundromats or liquor stores can be an occasionally long stroll away.

Services

It is difficult to get to the closest supermarket by foot in Rive-Boisée. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a small variety of coffee shops is available as well. In terms of education, it is a short trip to get to daycares and schools from anywhere in Rive-Boisée.

Accessing parks in the neighbourhood, such as Parc George-Springate and Parc-nature des Rapides-du-Cheval-Blanc, is very easy since there are around 20 of them close by for residents to visit. This area is also very quiet, as the streets are usually especially tranquil.

Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in Rive-Boisée, and the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings.
