Parc-Lafontaine is an excellent part of Montréal for environmentally friendly transportation options. It is very easy for pedestrians to move around in this part of the city; many daily needs are very convenient to meet without a car, and many businesses are especially close at hand. Parc-Lafontaine will also attract active house buyers as it is very suitable for cycling. More precisely, the cycling infrastructure is especially comprehensive, and there is always a bike-share station in proximity. Owing to plenty of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Ligne 1 - Verte, Ligne 2 - Orange and Ligne 4 - Jaune, and about 40 nearby bus lines, homeowners can count on public transit to travel in this part of Montréal. In contrast, cars are a rather limited means of transportation in Parc-Lafontaine. That being said, nearby highways are easy to drive to from anywhere in Parc-Lafontaine.
