Situated within the Greater Charlottetown metropolitan area, Parkdale is a neighbourhood in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Transportation

Parkdale is a fairly convenient part of Charlottetown for pedestrians; running common errands is convenient without the need to use a car. Physically active people will also value the cycling-friendly character of Parkdale. More specifically, there are a limited number of hills to challenge cyclists, and the bicycling network is rather comprehensive. Driving is usually the best approach to navigate this part of the city. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot, and it is a short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this area. In contrast, Parkdale is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally very close by.

Services

In this area, parents and their children will generally be able to access daycares and schools without a car.
