Transportation

It is convenient to get around by bike in Downtown Charlottetown because the topography is rather flat, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly good. This area is also a very pleasant part of Charlottetown for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without a car, and many businesses are reasonably close at hand. Downtown Charlottetown is car friendly. Many real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, and it is convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Downtown Charlottetown is not very frequent. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes.

Services

It is a short walk to get to daycares and schools from most homes for sale in this part of the city. In terms of food, it is especially convenient to reach the closest grocery store as a pedestrian from any location in this area.
