Transportation

Kennedy Park offers homeowners several alternative modes of transportation. Kennedy Park will appeal to home buyers who want to be in an area that's walkable as it is rather walking-friendly; running day-to-day errands is convenient without needing to get in a vehicle, and various businesses are close at hand. Commuting by bicycle is also easy in Kennedy Park. The very good public transit network allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle as a consequence of various nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth), and approximately 30 nearby bus lines. Cars are also a good transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is easy to come across a place to park.

Services

The closest supermarket in Kennedy Park is generally only a short stroll away. Likewise, there are a fair number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also easy to access a selection of clothing stores without a car. With respect to education, in Kennedy Park, parents and their children will almost always be able to get to daycares and schools without a vehicle.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Kennedy Park, as well as some areas with a vibrant atmosphere. More specifically, parks, including St. Clair Ravine and McCowan District Park, are very well-distributed and there are around 40 of them close by for residents to enjoy, making it very easy to reach them. Most sections of this neighbourhood are very serene and quiet, but some other areas can be noisy, especially closer to one of the railway lines.
