This area is also convenient for pedestrians; carrying out day-to-day needs is convenient without a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. This part of Toronto is not very appropriate for cycling because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and travelling by bike is rendered arduous by the typically steep topography. Even though this neighbourhood is not known for its lively atmosphere, the vibe is still quite energetic around its main streets, and finding one of the a few nightlife venues is easy since they are generally situated in reasonably convenient locations. On the other hand, this part of the city features a good amount of greenery as numerous tree-lined streets are present. Green spaces, such as Parkway Forest Park and Moatfield Farm Park, are especially well-situated and there are over 50 of them close by for residents to visit, making it very easy to reach them.
