This neighbourhood affords house buyers several alternative methods of transportation. Thanks to a few nearby bus lines, the public transit network in this neighbourhood is moderately practical. It is also easy for people walking to navigate this part of the city; many common errands can be run without a vehicle. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in this part of Toronto.

Character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Birch Cliff is a reasonably good option. Although this part of the city is not known for its lively ambience, its main streets are still quite dynamic, and with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located around the corner. Birch Cliff is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, although that is not the case closer to the railway line. This part of the city also features a fair amount of greenery as the majority of streets have good tree coverage. There are approximately 30 public green spaces nearby for residents to relax in, like Birchmount Park and Scarborough Heights Park, and they are very well-distributed, making them very easy to access.
