Part of the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Algoma is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Algoma is moderately suitable for those who get around by walking; running common errands is easy without needing to resort to a car. Biking is also easy in this part of the city. Getting around by public transit is challenging in Algoma. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. On the other hand, cars are a fairly good medium of transportation in Algoma. It is very easy to park.

It is very easy to access the closest grocery store as a pedestrian from any location in Algoma. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are also a few coffee shops in Algoma. Algoma offers an unique mix of areas that are both busy and quiet.
