Louth

Situated in the St. Catharines - Niagara metropolitan area, Louth is a neighbourhood within St. Catharines, Ontario.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is particularly car friendly. Many houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 406, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, Louth is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally a short distance away. Getting around by walking is not very convenient for residents in Louth as few daily needs can be met without a vehicle. Louth is also not very amenable to biking since the cycling network is not very extensive, and riding is made arduous by the often steep area.

Services

It is rarely practical for property owners in Louth to do groceries by walking. Residents are served by approximately 10 restaurants and coffee shops as well. With respect to education, parents and their kids will appreciate that no matter where their home is located in this part of the city, daycares are close by.
