The community of Glen Walter is part of the township of South Glengarry, Ontario, which is situated in United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

Transportation

This part of South Glengarry is especially car friendly. Coming across a place to park is quite easy. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in Glen Walter because running common errands is very inconvenient without the use of a vehicle. However, it is easy to get around by bicycle in this community.

Services

A car is generally required in Glen Walter to access the nearest supermarket. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. With respect to education, there are only a few high schools in this part of the township and thus they can be a long distance away. Likewise, Glen Walter does not have any primary schools. Furthermore, daycares are not especially numerous and consequently not always within walking distance.
