The neighbourhood of Samac can be found in the city of Oshawa, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Oshawa metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured mode of transportation in this area is often driving. It is convenient to access a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit in this part of the city is not very practical. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Samac, even though running common errands is convenient without a vehicle. It is also sometimes challenging to travel by bicycle in this neighbourhood since there are few bike lanes, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

In Samac, parents and their kids will usually be able to reach daycares and schools without a car.
