Located within the Norfolk metropolitan area, Port Rowan is a community in Norfolk County, Ontario.

Transportation

Port Rowan is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. In contrast, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the community is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically around the corner. Bicycling is challenging in this area as the bicycling network is quite bad. Nonetheless, cyclists do not encounter significant elevation changes. Walking is also not very practical for property owners in Port Rowan since very few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

It is especially convenient to access the nearest grocery store by foot from most houses for sale in Port Rowan. A small number of restaurants are available in this community as well. When it comes to education, it is a short trip to access primary schools from any location in Port Rowan. However, there are no high schools in this part of the city.

Character

Port Rowan is a great community to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. Port Rowan is wonderful for those who need quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
