The neighbourhood of Erindale is part of the city of Mississauga, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is fairly suitable for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing to get in a car. The bicycle is a reasonably good method of transportation in this neighbourhood. Erindale is not an especially convenient part of Mississauga for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, commuters profit from University of Toronto / Mississauga Campus and Dundas St W East of Erin Mills Pky on the University Express. Commuters can depend on the Erindale on the Milton. There are about 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. In contrast, commuting by car is convenient in Erindale. Coming across a place to park is generally easy.

Services

It is convenient to reach the closest supermarket as a pedestrian in this neighbourhood. In addition, Erindale is a good place in which to go out to eat, and home buyers are served by a few cafes as well. In terms of education, in Erindale, families will usually be able to access schools and daycares without the use of a car.

Character

Erindale is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm environment. There are over 50 green spaces close by for residents to discover, such as Bruce Reynolds Park and Woodland Park, and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to get to them. This part of Mississauga is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

In Erindale, roughly one third of dwellings are single detached homes, but large apartment buildings, small apartment buildings, and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. About 70% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 30% are occupied by renters. A majority of the housing growth in this part of the city took place in the 1960s and 1970s.
