The neighbourhood of Unionville is part of the city of Markham, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The bicycle is a good mode of transportation in Unionville. House buyers who want to live in a community that's walkable will also welcome the fairly pedestrian-friendly nature of Unionville; many daily needs can be met without a vehicle. The transit service in this part of Markham is not very convenient. Nonetheless, rapid transit stations, including Highway 7 / Village Pkwy, Highway 7 / Sciberras Rd and Hwy 7 / Bullock with access to the Viva Purple, are ordinarily a short distance away from the bulk of residences in the neighbourhood. Commuters are served by the Unionville on the Stouffville. House owners have access to about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner.
