Located within the Greater London metropolitan area, Tempo is a neighbourhood within London, Ontario.

Transportation

The favoured mode of transportation in this part of the city is usually a car. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 402, are particularly easy to reach from any location in Tempo. The bicycle is a method of transportation in Tempo because there are a fair number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and there are very few bike lanes. It is very inconvenient for people travelling by foot to navigate Tempo because very few daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle.

Services

There are only a very small number of high schools in this area and thus they can be a very long trip away. In addition, Tempo does not contain any primary schools. Moreover, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long walk away. Concerning food, in most, if not all, cases, a car is needed to shop for groceries. A small selection of restaurants can be found in this part of London as well.

Character

Tempo is a neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a laid-back environment. Tempo is an excellent area for those who aren't bothered by a bit of noise, since traffic during rush hour can occasionally be loud.

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Tempo. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about three quarters of the dwellings in Tempo and one quarter are rented. About one third of properties in this area were constructed pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s.
