Central Frederick is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Central Frederick allows homeowners to move around using several alternative means of transportation. The public transit system in Central Frederick is fairly good. The nearest rapid transit station, including Queen Station, Kitchener City Hall Station and Borden Station on the ION Light Rail, is commonly a short walk away from the majority of houses in the neighbourhood. There are around 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Central Frederick is also a fairly pleasant part of Kitchener for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without the need for a car, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. This area is fairly amenable to cycling.

Lastly, even though this neighbourhood is not known for its lively atmosphere, the vibe can still be quite energetic around its busier streets, and places to go out at night are well-distributed throughout the area.
