Alpine is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is easy for people travelling by foot to move around in Alpine; many common errands can be run without a car. Alpine is also reasonably cycling-friendly since there are a fair number of bike lanes. Cars are a great mode of transportation in this area. Parking is generally easy, and it is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 7 & 8, from anywhere in Alpine. In contrast, travelling by transit can be occasionally difficult in Alpine by reason of the infrequent service.
