Part of the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Jerome is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario.

Transportation

Jerome will appeal to people who want to live in a compact community since it is walkable; running daily errands is convenient without a vehicle. In contrast, bicycling is difficult in Jerome since the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and the topography is not especially flat. This part of the city is an extraordinarily convenient part of Hamilton for driving. It is easy to park, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Lincoln M Alexander Parkway, from anywhere in this area. In contrast, public transit riders may have few choices in Jerome due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by.

Services

It is easy to reach the nearest grocery store without a car from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. In addition, Jerome is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. It is also easy to access a selection of clothing stores without a vehicle. As far as education is concerned, in Jerome, parents and their children will generally be able to reach daycares and primary schools by walking.
