Steeles West Industrial is a neighbourhood within Vaughan, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in Steeles West Industrial. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and most of the street network is made for driving. Travelling by public transit is also easy in this area. In particular, homeowners benefit from Hwy 7 / Pine Valley, Hwy 7 / Ansley Grove and Hwy 7 / Weston on the Viva Orange. The neighbourhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most homes. Traveling as a pedestrian in this neighbourhood is not very popular, although meeting day-to-day needs is convenient without a car. Bicycling is also difficult in Steeles West Industrial because there are very few bike lanes. Thankfully, riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and some enjoyable pockets for cycling can be found.

Services

In this part of the city, families will typically be able to access daycares without a car. However, there are only a very small number of high schools in this part of Vaughan and thus they can be a very long walk away. Moreover, Steeles West Industrial does not have any primary schools.
