Port Union is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Port Union is especially car friendly. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 401, are rather easy to drive to from anywhere in this area. On the other hand, public transit riders may find limited choices in Port Union by reason of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, commuters are served by the Rouge Hill with access to the Lakeshore East. The neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. This area is reasonably conducive to cycling. On the other hand, Port Union is not particularly suitable for people who like to travel as pedestrians as common amenities such as barbers or laundromats can be an occasionally long walk away.

Services

A supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a rather long trip from any location in Port Union. Residents are served by around 20 restaurants and coffee shops as well. Concerning education, it is a reasonably short trip to access schools and daycares from anywhere in Port Union.
