The neighbourhood of Old Milton is part of the town of Milton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

People who value walkability will enjoy the pedestrian-friendly character of Old Milton; many day-to-day needs are convenient to meet without the use of a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Cycling is also easy in this area. This area is moderately car friendly. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this area, and accessing a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, Old Milton is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents can count on the Milton on the Milton. There are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner.

Services

Home buyers in Old Milton will welcome that a grocery store is always only a very short distance away. Furthermore, there is typically a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also a reasonably short stroll to a decent selection of clothing stores, for example along Main Street. This neighbourhood is also good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to the railway line.
