Transportation

Oakwood does not necessitate use of a car since various other means of transportation are available. The transit service in this area is very practical as a consequence of about 10 nearby bus lines. It is convenient to move around by bicycle in Oakwood.

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short stroll away in Oakwood. Likewise, there are over 50 restaurants and a few cafes to experience in this area. It is also a short trip to a very good variety of clothing stores, for instance along St Clair Avenue. Oakwood has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Oakwood is very quiet, as the streets are generally very tranquil. However, there are about 20 parks nearby for residents to visit, including Earlscourt Park, and they are especially well-spread out, which makes it very easy to reach them.
