Transportation

Cars are a very good medium of transportation in this area. Parking is generally easy. In contrast, getting around by transit can be challenging in Elder Mills due to the service's low frequency. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. This area is not especially cycling-friendly as the bicycling network is fairly poor, and there are a good number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. Most houses for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for people who prefer to travel by walking since running daily errands is occasionally challenging without a car.

Services

Property owners in this neighbourhood often need a car to access the closest grocery store. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically convenient to reach by foot and sell some staple foods. A limited number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. In terms of education, it is a reasonably short distance to get to daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in this area. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of Vaughan.

The character of Elder Mills is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. This part of Vaughan is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
