Transportation

Cars are a reasonably good means of transportation in Chatham. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, the transit service in Chatham is not very convenient. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically around the corner. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this part of the municipality because there are a limited number of slopes. Chatham is not especially conducive to people who prefer to get around as pedestrians because carrying out daily needs is sometimes challenging without a car.

Services

It is convenient to access the closest grocery store without a vehicle in this neighbourhood. Moreover, this part of the municipality is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited selection of cafes can be found as well. When it comes to education, it is a rather short walk to reach daycares and schools from any location in Chatham.

Character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Chatham. This part of the municipality is very quiet, as the streets are very peaceful. Finally, green spaces, such as Lioness Park and O'Neil Nature Preserve, are very well-situated and there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to discover, which results in them being easy to get to from a large number of locations within Chatham.

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing roughly two thirds of dwellings in Chatham, while small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock. This part of the municipality has a good choice of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
