The neighbourhood of Rural is part of the city of Burlington, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the best approach to get around in this part of the city. It is especially convenient to park, and most of the street infrastructure is made for driving. On the other hand, the public transit service in Rural is not very frequent. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by around 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Bicycling is difficult in Rural because there are very few bike lanes, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of hills.
