Part of the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Bronte is a neighbourhood within Burlington, Ontario.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred method to move around in this part of the city. Nearby highways, such as Highway 407, are easy to access from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and most of the street infrastructure is conducive to cars. However, the public transit service in Bronte is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Bicycling is convenient in Bronte. Walking is not very practical for residents in Bronte because most daily needs are occasionally challenging to carry out without a car.

Services

In Bronte, families will generally be able to reach primary schools and daycares without a vehicle. However, high schools are not very numerous and accordingly may require an extended walk to get to.
