Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Watt Section is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured approach to get around in this community. It is especially convenient to find a place to park. Moving around by bicycle is very difficult in this community since the cycling network is quite poor, and cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of elevation changes. Traveling as a pedestrian is also not very convenient for home buyers in this area since almost no day-to-day needs can be carried out without a vehicle.

Services

There are only a very small number of high schools in Watt Section and thus they can be a very long stroll away. Likewise, this part of Halifax does not have any primary schools. In addition, parents may consider it very hard for their kids to get to daycares as pedestrians.
