This community is an extremely convenient part of Halifax for moving around by car. It is very easy to park. In contrast, the transit infrastructure in Timberlea is rather poor. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. This part of Halifax is rather bicycling-friendly. Getting around as a pedestrian is not very practical for residents in this community because very few common errands can be run without the use of a car.
